Roger Daltrey is an English singer, musician, and actor, best known as the founder and lead singer of the rock band The Who which formed back in 1964. Daltrey led the group for 60 years, releasing successes like "Pinball Wizard," "Won't Get Fooled Again," and "Who Are You."
He said, "I'm on my way out," in an open discussion about his ageing body.
He chose to step-down as the curator of the yearly charity event Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) concerts at the Royal Albert Hall as he turns 80 in this March 2024.

Daltrey has contributed to the fundraising of nearly £32 million for NHS units that provide care for young cancer patients since taking on the role of event curator. further, he said that he will not leave TCT , and will work in back room, talking to the government, & rattling cages.”
He said, - “I have to be realistic. I’m on my way out. The average life expectancy is 83 and with a bit of luck I’ll make that, but we need someone else to drive things" . Moreover he stated age related memory issues.
While Daltrey step down from the position TCT will plan to work with several guest curators will lend a hand to the events.
